I’m Finally Going to Get Married

Last week I popped the big question to my girlfriend. I wanted to make things special beyond what people normally do when they propose, so I decided to rent a limo from a limousine service in Toronto. I picked up my girlfriend in the limo and we went to one of the fanciest restaurants in the city. This restaurant is well known for its French cuisine. I even learned a bit of French so I could order from the menu in the language. My pronunciation was a little off, but I understood what was written on the menu. My girlfriend laughed while I did it, but she was impressed.

After dinner, we went to a roller skating rink. My girlfriend and I love to roller skate, even though we aren’t that great at it. Continue reading

Using a Limo for a Wine Tour

When a few of my friends asked me to go on a wine tour with them, I thought it sounded like a fun idea until they told me that we were going to drive there ourselves. Nothing about that seemed like a good idea to me, and I told them that. We wanted to be able to have fun, and that meant enjoying ourselves with tasting the different wines. We needed to have someone else drive us there, which is why I looked into Paradise Toronto limo. I knew that they offer Niagara Falls wine tours, and it seemed the best way for all of us to have fun. Mom and Dad Paid for a Nice Night

I spent a lot of time in school doing my best. I wanted to get a 4.0 GPA. Many others students that I know wanted to spend their time socializing. But I had my sights set on being a doctor one day, and I knew that the only way to do that was to apply myself. So, when prom came around, my parents asked if I was going. I said that I might go with my boyfriend, whose name is Mark, and they said that they would pay for a nice dinner, limousines in Toronto for me and my friends and a fabulous dress of my choice. They said it was because I had been so good in school. Also, they said that if I did go, it was best that we be chauffeured so that no one would get hurt that night. That seemed pretty important to me.

I told Mark the next day about it at school, and he chuckled and said that I just took away his chance to let him ask me to prom. But since he had been fretting about how to ask me in a grand way, he said that I just made things easier on him. He really wanted to go, and the way he talked about it made me look forward to going, too.

Mom said that the only thing that she asked for in return is that we take some time before the limo arrived for a photography session. She wanted photos of Mark, me and all my friends in their prom attire. I was happy to do that and glad that I would have some memento photos. Afterward, we jumped into the limousine and marveled at how nice it was. Since we’re underage, we can’t drink alcohol, but the company provided sparking water and even juices and a fruit plate for us to have during the ride.

A Nontraditional Venue for a Reception

On my first date with the new guy at work, I knew that we were going to be together forever. He told me on our third date that he felt that way too, but he did not want to scare me. As if that could happen! Fast forward to today, and we are about to be united in marriage in a few days. We have been together for six months, and we don’t want to wait another month to be together as husband and wife. We have reserved a Toronto limo bus to take all of our wedding party and guests to a city park where we will exchange vows.

We were going to rent a reception hall for dinner, but we decided that we would rather have a limo bus take us from the park to a nice restaurant, then we could finish out the night in the bus. We would have it for six hours, and that was all that time we would need to have the ceremony, the dinner, and then a few hours with the people we love the most in the world celebrating the best days of our lives with us. Radisson Blu Residence Istanbul Batisehir to open in 2016

Radisson“We see a  growing demand for serviced apartments – especially from business and leisure  customers from the Middle East. The Radisson Blu Residence will further  diversify our offer in Istanbul, one of Europe’s busiest and most attractive  markets”, said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President & CEO of Rezidor.

“Turkey  is a key focus country for our group. We now operate and develop 20 hotels with  more than 3,600 rooms across the country, and want to further drive growth and  scale together with experienced national and international partners”, added  Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer of  Rezidor.

The  Radisson Blu Residence Istanbul Batisehir will be located on the western side  of Istanbul as part of the Batisehir project, one of the largest and most marketed real estate developments in town. On a surface of 818,000sqm,  Batisehir will offer a mix of residential buildings, offices, retail space and  an educational centre. Upon completion, the complex will host 15,000 people. Conveniently located between the Atatürk International Airport and the city  centre and highly visible, the Radisson Blu Residence will comprise 171 studios  and apartments (23-125sqm) with Radisson Blu signature elements such as free  high speed internet access. Further services will include an all-day-dining  restaurant, a bar, a business centre with 4 meeting rooms, a gym, and parking  spaces.

Istanbul  is one of Europe’s Top 20 cities for real estate development. As strategic hub  between Europe and Asia, it has strong growth prospects that are driven by a  young, dynamic population. The Turkish government has increased its public  spending over the past years to introduce several mega-construction projects in  Istanbul – amongst them a third international airport, the extension of road  and metro system, and a third Bosphorus bridge.

Dusit expands in the Philippines with DusitPrincess Cebu

DusitIn a signing ceremony recently held at the City Sports Club in Cebu Business Park, representatives from Dusit International and Cebu-based developer Grand Land, Inc. (GLI), formalised an agreement to bring a DusitPrincess hotel to the Queen City of the South.

Dusit International’s DusitPrincess brand offers guests welcoming, efficient and affordable accommodation in key city and resort destinations. Embracing the culture and character of its surrounds, each DusitPrincess hotel combines essential business connectivity, efficient service, quality dining and leisure facilities with great value.

Strategically located in the upbeat side of the North Reclamation area of Metro Cebu, the high-rise DusitPrincess Cebu will offer 295 guest rooms with fantastic views of the city and the ocean. Its beautifully designed, international–standard facilities include restaurants, meeting rooms, a gym, and swimming pools.  Part of a mixed-use development, there will also be a number of retail outlets, offices, and apartments complementing the hotel.

“We are excited to grow our presence in the Philippines to include picturesque Cebu,” said Rustom Vickers, Group Director for Development, Dusit International.  “With its position as a key gateway to Southern Philippines, strong corporate demand and myriad tourist attractions, the island is currently seeing a boom of development.  We are thrilled to cater to the island’s growing demand alongside Grand Land, Inc., and we look forward to bringing Dusit’s brand of gracious hospitality to the city together.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Bernard Go, President of Grand Land, Inc., expressed confidence that the company will be able to start the construction of the project this year.

“This is one of the key projects we have in Cebu,” Go said, noting that the firm has decided to venture into the hotel-apartment business because it sees the need for Cebu tourism to have more branded hotels. “We want to expand the tourism industry so we hope to develop hotels and resorts, north or south of Cebu. The partnership with Dusit International may extend to more GLI hotel projects. For this project, there will be units in the integrated development to be sold to individual investors while office spaces will be made available for purchase,” Go disclosed.

Aeroporto Hotel Rio De Janeiro

Where is it?

Rio de Janeiro is on the Brazilian coast, looking out to the South Atlantic Ocean, with Salvador to the north and San Paulo to the south. The climate is hot all year round, with occasional rains in the summer, but the party temperature is always high.

Where can I stay?

Although Rio de Janeiro attracts high-living, high-rolling visitors, it caters for a wide range of tourists, from those in palatial hotels to backpackers making their way through Brazil. For a real treat, however, book into a boutique hotel, which offers a cool, calm retreat away from the hustle and bustle of this 24-hour city. Rio de Janeiro is one of the most densely populated cities in the world and both its residents and visitors like to live life to the full while they are there. If you need to recharge your batteries, a boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay. Try the 5-roomed La Maison, which is just a stones throw from the beach, but once youre inside is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with a swimming pool and sundeck for guests to use when the beach has become too busy to handle. To really get away from it all, try La Suite, a boutique hotel with just seven rooms and 180 views of the ocean, the beach and the Cagarras Islands as well as the point of Arpuador, the rock that separates Copacabana from Ipanema. Here, the beach and great shopping are only a few minutes away by car, which means that you get the best of both worlds.

What can I see?

People-watching is an occupation in itself in Rio de Janeiro. Once youve had your fill of beach beauties and surf dudes, take yourself off to some of the many museums that show the works of a range of Brazilian artists; or take a walk in some of the beautiful tropical gardens. If you want to spend your time walking rather than dancing, then take a trip into the mountains for some unforgettable views.

How do I get around?

Travelling in Rio de Janeiro can be an adventure. Buses are cheap, but not necessarily reliable or safe, so youre advised not to take valuables with you if you decide to take a bus across town. Taxis are a more comfortable option, and usually a safer one, although you still need to be careful. A good hotel will be able to arrange affordable, safe taxi services for you. For an altogether different experience, try the subway which, although it doesnt cover the whole city, is clean, cheap and fast.
